History:

Started in 1987 Gilles Mione Construction, created in 2006  M1 Construction Inc based in the Los Angeles Area.
In 1922, Gilles Mione’s ancestors,  moved to France. From there, the Mione family began to build. They  started a construction company which was to become one of the top three construction companies in the 1940’s. The company was involved in the building of the Unité d'habitation and le Corbusier. Le Corbusier is considered a milestone in the rendering of concrete architecture. It introduced the raw concrete - béton brut - with its texture defined by the wooden planks that shape it. Gilles Mione’s father, Gilbert Mione, chose to honor his Uncle and Father by following in their footsteps, working as a senior project Manager. Gilbert most notable projects was the CERN- European Nuclear Research Center in Geneva. In the tradition of his father and grandfather, Gilles Mione attended Engineering School in Paris, (ESTP/EYROLLES), one of the most prestigious engineering schools. He received a degree in Project Management in 1978. After working in France and Africa for seven years he moved to California in 1984. In 1987 shortly after his son Bryan was born, he started Gilles Mione Construction. For the past 30 years he has continued to grow and expand his business.
